About Colwick Hall

First owned by Sir Reginal DeColwick, it is a historic landmark site that dates back to the 11th Century, and was even recorded in the doomsday book – a manuscript record of the Great Survey by order of King William the Conqueror in 1086. The Georgian mansion with its impressive Palladian style facade later became the ancestral home of Lord Byron. It is situated on 60 acres of woodland, complete with rolling countryside landscapes and a beautiful lake.
